Each glass is finished with an FDA approved food grade epoxy that is hot and cold liquid safe. The finish prevents the wood from transferring any flavor into your coffee and will not damage or dull over time. To preserve the finish, hand wash with warm, soapy water.
 
This custom made glass is truly one of a kind. I source my wood from trees that have fallen naturally, had a little help from my chainsaw or rescued from a roadside free firewood pile. Because they are all hand-crafted, you may notice slight variations in size or shape, or some blemishes in the wood, this is all part of the unique character of each piece.
 
Although this glass is worthy of being displayed, it is designed to be a functional conversation piece.  So, I hope you enjoy your glass, take it to parties, share it with friends and send them to 45 North Woodworks for their own one-of-a-kind piece.
